EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM

Program History

The Ministry believes that education is essential to give children the chance to have a better future.  Initially, through the kindness of some volunteers and individuals, some children were able to receive help for their studies.  In 1998, the educational support program was formally launched.  The ministry sought the help of individuals, corporations, schools and organizations to sponsor the schooling of poor children.  Various amounts and types of support are given according to agreements made during the interview with the scholars and their parents.
